Working Smarter Throughout State

Working Smarter Throughout State

State’s team has placed a significant emphasis on working smarter over the past several years. We continually ask our teams what tasks could be streamlined, eliminated or automated. This enables us to continue to meet or exceed our clients’ expectations for results and cost control. Given the impact of the pandemic on the financial stability of healthcare providers, many clients have requested that State reduce fees temporarily. It is our ongoing “work smarter” that have allowed State to remain stable even through this extraordinary time.

Below are examples of working smarter initiatives that are in progress or already implemented:

  • Third party is focusing a greater percentage of our resources on high scoring individuals
  • As New Hire Training has needed to move to 100% virtual, the team has been able to streamline training so it is completed in 8 days instead of the previous 10 days
  • Marketing and HR collaborated to move fundraising online and directly deposits donations into a dedicated account that will be used for this purpose only
  • Finance has completed numerous projects to streamline and automate previously time-consuming tasks
