State Donates $13,000 to Fight Food Insecurity and Homelessness
In the spirit of the season, the State team continued its annual holiday tradition of donating $13,000 to assist families in our communities.
The generosity of State’s team was donated to organizations combatting food insecurity and homelessness. Donations were made to local agencies in the communities where State has a physical office and to Feeding America on behalf of our remote staff members. Donations were made to:
House of Mercy – Beloit, Wis.
DAIS – Madison, Wis.
Hope House – Milwaukee, Wis.
St. Peter’s Catholic Church Food Pantry – Geneva, Ill.
Feeding America – Remote Staff
State President Tim Haag, and his wife Kristen, made a $1,000 personal pledge if the team reached the fundraiser goal. The team came together to beat the goal! When combined with the company match, the gift continued the 2022 trend of record-breaking donations.
Earlier in the year, State donated to Special Olympics as well as a donation in honor of Tom Haag to Cars Curing Kids. State, and the Haag family, appreciate the generosity of our partners and industry friends who joined with us to honor Tom and his legacy.
“I am extremely proud of the generosity of our team. When combined with company contributions, I am grateful we are able to help families in need by donating nearly $90,000 in 2022,” said Tim Haag. “Our team strives to make a difference in the lives of our clients and their patients every day. This is another example of our team’s compassionate spirit and desire to help others in our communities.”
